Inspired by the beautiful town squares throughout Italy, Paolo and wife Carmela opened La Piazza on December 20, of 1998, in Mountain Village, Colorado as a meeting place for stylish authentic Italian dining, relaxation, and special events.  Our resort location is ski-in, golf-in, a spectacular gondola up from Telluride, or a slow stroll from your lodge.

La Piazza's history is defined by two sets of individuals. The first set is the artisans that have dedicated their time and energy to its purpose.  People such as Luca Ramponi, Stefano Canclini, and the many long term and seasonal staff whose spirit of service and commitment have created in La Piazza, a true ambassador of fine Italian wine and foods.  Secondly, and of most importance, our history is defined by those whom we have served.
